We were so excited to work with the legendary Mr Doodle on an incredible new piece on Regent’s Park Road Footbridge in Camden, completed for the London Mural Festival 2024. The piece was commissioned by Camden Goods Yard, an 8-acre regeneration project by St George, right next to Camden Market on what used to be the old goods depot. This bustling footbridge near Chalk Farm station now proudly sports one of Mr. Doodle’s signature creations.

Mr. Doodle’s mural – a 90-metre piece of art spanning both sides of the bridge –came together to close our 2024 London Mural Festival. The incredible 58 new doodles took him just one week to complete, blending endless characters, objects, and patterns in his unmistakable style. The doodles also celebrate Camden, featuring messages from the local community and playful animals – think gorillas and penguins – as a nod to nearby London Zoo. The piece even caught the attention of Dua Lipa, who gave it a shout-out on her Insta stories!
Throughout his career, Mr. Doodle has created what he calls “DoodleLand” – a place where his unique vision unfolds in relentless, growing scenes of characters and chaos. His process is a sort of creative meditation: fluid, unplanned, and channelled directly from his imagination to the wall. Through his work, he aims to stir up wonder and a bit of mayhem, and remind us all to look a little closer for the unexpected.
"
Many of the doodles are inspired by the list of words contributed by the local community, for example for things like ‘nature’ and ‘time’ I drew a flower and an alarm clock. I also drew elements like gorillas and penguins to represent London Zoo and Primrose Hill. I want to thank my friends at Global Street Art for organising this adventure for me as part of London Mural Festival."
