Walls Project

Please be aware that this page is very old now! For updates from our Walls Project, please follow us on twitter or instagram @globalstreetart.

In February 2012 we started to ask permission on behalf of our artist friends to paint walls, shutters, hoardings and trucks around London.

By late 2014 we had organised over 700 legal street art murals. We're currently curating two very large building site hoardings on Great Eastern Street, Leonard Street, Ravey Street, Blackall Street and Willow Street. We don't mark the walls so you might not know we exist (most street art tours need to do more research)!

By last count we were responsible for organising over 50% of the street art in the Brick Lane area (and painting none of it - credit to hundreds and hundreds of local, national and international artists).

We're still always on the lookout for new legal spaces for art in London so if you have a street-facing / public access wall then please let us know.

For information and photos about some of our street art festivals you can see these links:
The Walls Project: Paint the City you Love!

The map and photographs below are really quite old now - this page became too difficult to maintain because so many new murals are always going up and up and up!
